Nothing Gold Can Stay
Updated: Sep 19, 2019
Nature’s first green is gold
Her hardest hue to hold
Her early leaf’s a flower
But only so an hour
Then leaf subsides to leaf
So Eden sank to grief
So dawn goes down to day
Nothing gold can stay - Robert Frost
This is my first attempt at a styled bridal shoot. A collaborative effort between myself and some very talented young women. Sadie Bosworth, an amazing designer - who I interviewed for the Get It magazine last year, provided her gorgeous wedding gowns and Rosemary Smith of Mothworks, a makeup artist, stylist and flower arranger, assisted in making the shoot such a success. Chantal Rowe was the hairstylist on the day. The location for the shoot was an old abandoned estate house in Salt Rock, it set the perfect mood for the kind of images I have been wanting to experiment with for some time. Something a bit more moody, dark and mysterious.
